Inventing the University

In this article I noticed a few things that will help me to improve my writing. I know that when I speak, I sound a lot like the kid talking about the white shoes. That is my comfort level, but I believe it is almost everyone's as well. People love to talk about themselves and they love to talk about things "they" have done. In order for me to be successful, I will need to step out of my comfort zone and start to learn how to address the readers. It is very easy to do this when you know the audience you are writng to. When you aren't familiar with the audience, it becomes increasingly difficult to write things that will grab their attention.
I will make it a goal to be able to write powerfully and authoritatively as to immediately grab the attention of the audience, and then to state my points without fear of rejection. As I do this I feel I will be able to gain opportunities in work, education, and business.
